On International Women’s Day (and in Women’s History Month) we made a number of pledges to improve our representation and to help #BreakTheBias. One of these was to celebrate women’s achievements, and with this in mind we have renamed our Watson & Crick lab. It is now the Watson, Crick & FRANKLIN lab, to acknowledge the contribution of Rosalind Franklin and her work to the discovery of the structure of DNA.
