City College is at the heart of Burslem’s historic town centre. Comprising a beautiful Grade II listed building with state-of-the-art facilities, the college has a real community spirit and is an exciting learning environment.
The Burslem School of Art building has been recently refurbished, and it provides 10 teaching spaces, with four dedicated subject rooms including a specialist computing lab, a Design and Technology workshop and a Science lab. Students helped to design the new common room, with relaxed study areas, vending machines, and beverage and food preparation facilities on-site. There are ample social spaces for students to study or relax with friends.
Our Wedgwood Library also provides students with a well-stocked resource, including textbooks, university materials, further reading books, exam papers and fiction.
Our students have a real impact on the ethos and the drive of City College and our links to the local community give us a local flavour and unique community spirit.
